"Captain I don't see the point." The sergeant know as Kuwamori Miroku, of the First Azai Infantry Brigade replied to his superior. "He doesn't apply himself, what do you see in him?" The man added asking. "Kuwamori. I've been doing this for years. I whipped you into shape, I can do the same here." The captain replied. "What exactly do you want me to do then?" The sergeant said back rolling his eyes to himself. "Just watch him for a bit. There has to be some reason, he hasn't tried applying himself. I want to know why. Depending on what he does, I might just have a task for him to do, that could break him out of his shell as it were." The captain told the sergeant. Saluting Kuwamori left the Captain, and went to track down Yori.
Not long after, Sergeant Kuwamori was at the training field. At a distance, trying not to be seen, but not doing the best job. He would watch Yori as he went about his training for the day. Watching to see what exactly the other man did throughout the day, so he would have something to report back. Maybe the captain could find him something to do depending on how he went about the time. Though he wasn't sure what exactly the Captain had in mind. He just hoped that Yori didn't noticed he didn't like the idea of having to explain why he was watching the man.

" Hey Yori were going out for drinks want to join us "?
The men ask Yori after they reported in from their patrols, Yori turned to see a group of fellow Azai waving with over. He waves them off and shakes his head and tells them the same thing he always says.
" Sorry, but i have business to attend to ".
The men shrug and leave in the direction of a local bar, while Yori walks in the opposite direction into the compound's training grounds. The grounds were empty at this time thus making it perfect place to practice in peace. The men Yori trains with on a daily basic were mostly average everyday people turned soldier and the thugs he had run in with on patrol, were in almost no way trained in the ways of the sword. Reaching the training grounds He readys himself in his stance, with his sword on his right side and left foot out forward, knees slightly bent, his left hand at the ready and his right hand lightly holding the top of the sheath. His style was laijutsu his stance and moments were perfect and entrancing. His drawns seems almost instant and flowed into his next attacks, when finished he clean his sword and resheath his sword. Yori practiced a multitude of battle situations his movement never faltered his attacks quick percise and controlled he could stop his blade at a moments notice.
He practiced untill the sun touched the top of the earth, then made way to the western wall. approaching the western wall Yori passes a Azai soldier leaving his post to switch with the night shift. The northwesten wall is unchecked for about ten to fifteen minutes as the shift changes over. So for the time being Yori patrols untill he spots the next guard on patrol, upon seeing the guard he leaves and makes for the barracks. However on his way to the compound gates he was stopped by a messager, the messager handed him a message and went on his way. Yori knew what the message was it was sealed with the Fujii house's seal, did not need open the letter but he started to walk in the direction of the market district.
Entering a well known teahouse in Asai the owner greets Yori and leads him to a private room. The owner opens the door to show a old man dressed very traditionally attire with markings on each side of his coat. The man stands and bows to Yori saying.
" Thank you Lord Yori for meeting me on such short notice ".
" How many times have i told you not to call me that, nevermind if you came so frantically with out warning it must be important ".
Yori motions the man to be at ease and the man hands Yori a letter, looking over the letter as the man readys their tea Yori knew why he rushed over. The small town on the borders of the Oda known for it's production of fine sake has requested a less sizable order of rice then normal do to production and lack of available workers. This causes a issue since their original seasonal order is now halved, leaving us with a stock pile of rice. After reading the letter i take a sip of tea and asked if he had contacted with the owner, the man said he did and that they don't have the storage for it. Thinking for a bit i'll tell the man to contact the sake brewery owner and are towns rice framers and meet in Asai to renagotiate the amount of rice needed and to compensate the farmers. I tell the men to use the stock pile of rice in a rice based festival to try and make some money off of the losses and also get are town on the map as the number one producers of rice an tea leaves. I write down a request of a meeting to the brewery owner and write out the plans for the rice festival for the man. I hand the letters to the old man he bows And thanks Yori Saying.
" I wish you were still with us Lord Yori our town is not as bright without you "
" I may have left physically, but i still around to offer advice and ideas, you should get going people will wonder where you are if your gone for too long ".
The man bows again and leaves with a spring in his step and a smile on face. Yori now thinking to himself for a while drinking his tea, this festival is a gamble but with the compensation from the brewery, it's a free gamble so it's a win win situation for us. Anyway on to the next business at hand. He takes another sip of his tea and asks.
" are you going to follow me to bed to, because i have to warn you i move rather dangerously when i'm sleeping "?

Kuwamori watched from his spot, seemingly not having been noticed, as the much younger soldier went about his training. There was some strength in the man, even Kuwamori could see that, but compaired to some of the warriors of the Azai he wasn't. Surely the captain didn't see in him a fighter. Maybe there was something else that the Captain suspected. Nevertheless when Fujii finished his training and left the training grounds, Kuwamori followed as best as he could. There was no way he wouldn't have been spotted but Fujii didn't seem to reacted to his presence. Following him, Kuwamori would come across the teahouse that he had gone into and followed.
Watching he saw Fujii be led out back into another room, and doubted he would get away following him out back. Even so he moved closer. Giving other patrons of the teahouse death glares in order to quiet them slightly and listened as best as he could. HE didn't hear everything that went between Fujii and the man he was meeting. But even his ears could pick out something that was off. Had he misheard, or did that young man just get called a Lord? Surely if a Lord had joined the Azai it would be common knowledge not something hidden. The captain would want to know this. Hearing footsteps, Kuwamori quickly tried to fit in with the other patrons.
Some time would pass, and he was starting to believe that he had gotten away with following the man, when he looked up from his drink. "Are you going to follow me to bed to, because I have to warn you I move rather dangerously when i'm sleeping?" Fujii suddenly asked him from nowhere, causing Kuwamori to back off quickly. Before coming back to his senses, he was acting on order there was nothing wrong with that. The Captain was both of their superiours their was nothing Fujii could do and get away with. 'Unless he really is a Lord?' Kuwamori mind told him. "Just doing what the Captain told me." Kuwamori replied with a large sigh. "In fact, if you don't have any issues, I should report back." Kuwamori told Fujii getting up.

Finishing his drink, Yori places his cup down while he thinks on what the man just said. " Just doing what the captain said " and " in fact if you don't have any issues i should report back ". Flipping a unused third teacup rightside up, he begins to make the man a tea while talking to him.
" I actually have a few issues, by what you have just stated the captain has asked you to spy on me. Since i am still here and you are leaving would that not be disobeying the captain? Secondly the only information you have is, knowledge of my unbringing and that i have secret meetings. Which brands me as spy for pretty much anyone, thirdly you did not eat or drink the entire day i will not have you leaving here without at least a cup of tea ".
After he talking and preparing the man's tea he places the cup on the far end the table. Looks back at his empty cup and starts to make himself another tea, but before Yori begins to start he picks up the letter the old man gave to him and waves it temptingly at the man.
" Don't you want to know what the mysterious meetings are all about, would it not make a better report to have something concrete then mere secularizations "?
With his invitation over he looks back to his cup to continue his preparation of his tea.

Kuwamori stopped and listened when Fujii started to talk once more. The man had some valid points. It would also be rude of him to reject the offer of the drink, seeing as Fujii had already started making it. Instead of leaving he sat back down and joined the man. "Firstly, I was asked to watch not spy. Spy implies a nefarious intent. And second watching you once spotted, seems slightly pointless.Thirdly though I have to admit. I am curious, not just because of the captain, but of the little I overheard." Kuwamori replied, in a list like fashion, that Fujii himself had used. "I thank you for the drink though. Not something I would expect a man to offer, once he discovers he is being watched." Kuwamori stated, a bow of nod to the other man before carefully taking up the cup in both hands and sipping the tea.
"So what exactly is your reason? Out of curiosity and duty I must ask, as you have almost offer to waving those letters around." Kuwamori would add, while placing his cup down carefully once more. his eyes would linger over the papers that Fujii had. Why meet kind of secretly and then hold the paper teasingly in front of him so easily. If he felt his duty was to take them, he could probably do so with out much repercussion as he had been order to watch him. 'Unless he is truly a lord.' He mind supplied once more. 'Shut up' He mentally told the paranoid part of him.

Look at his cup as he rotates it around admiring the craftsmanship as one would do before taking a drink, as if it was a formal tea ceremony. Leaving Miroku to fight with his curiosity and paranoia, the brief pause was getting to Miroku. Just as he was about to break down and grab the papers. Yori takes his eyes off of his cup and looks at Miroku looking deeply at the letters, breaking the silence and bringing Miroku back to earth with one word Yori suddenly says.
" Wagash "? ( candy )
Miroku looks back at Yori and tries to collect himself and form a acceptable sentence but, he just stares at Yori confused. With the same look and composure Yori has maintained the entire conversation, he rings a small bell which summons an employee. Yori asks for a box of wagashes, the employee bows and leaves to get the order. Looking back at Miroku who seems to have regained his senses, Yori slides the letters over to him while saying.
" You could of just asked ".

The offer of candy, in the current situation came across as a odd one. Taking the sergeant by surprise, leaving him speechless until Fujii pushed the letters over towards him. Telling him that he could have asked, instead of watching as he had been ordered to do so. Picking them up, Kuwamori quickly opened them and looked down at their contents. He found the contents slightly odd, them being about rice. It seemed that Fujii was overseeing something to do with problems surrounding it for a village elsewhere. "Well asking, when I'd been ordered to watch would feel odd." Kuwamori would explain himself. "Though if your helping to over see this, are you really a lord for this village?" He added the question.
The idea of a lord even a minor one being in the army at such a low rank seemed slightly off. The idea that he could in the field outrank someone who in most other situation would be considered a superior, demanding the respect of his station. If Fujii really was a lord, it would make giving the man orders in the future, extremely awkward for him, that he knew. He had to admit thought, the captain certainly had a good eye. That or he already knew, and wanted to know why a lord was happy to be the rank he was. When the candies would come, Kuwamori would take one. "Thank you Corporal." He would say, and await the answer to his question. Wondering what, the captain planned to do, depending on the answer.

" Think nothing of it, but please just call me yori "
Yori says to him in a relaxed voice. With a deep sigh he begins to tell the sergeant about how he came into the service, and about how his jealous brother on several occasions tried to have him killed through assassination or poison. Only because he was more liked because he serve the people and ran the town, even though he was the second son and his brother is the head of the family. His brother finally got the better of him through threatening the life of a boy who only wanted to save his mother. Yori saved his life by making a deal with his brother, to leave and never come back and to serve as a lowly soldier in The Azai Army.
My brother sent word to Lord Azai, That Yori would be arriving to join his forces. The Azai and Fujii know each other and we even had the honor of having them over a few times. When i reached Asai to join up as a nobody, Lord Azai personally summon me to speak with him.Lord Azai asked what had happened and i told him the whole story. Lord Azai being a man of justice he wanted to forcefully bring my brother to justice, but i convinced him not to on the account that my brother would use the town as a shield for his escape. Since many innocent people would be hurt in the process. I ask him to keep my up bringing a secret and allow me to serve as a soldier, this would still allow me to help my home through Furukawa the manyou saw with me earlier. With his tale finished Yori slowly looks down at the box of candy and reminisced about the past.
" If only i just got the medicine for him instead of giving him money i would still be back home, and not sitting here worrying about my home and trying to help through paper and pen ".
Yori's last sentence was in a slow, sad and worried tone, however it's not clear if he knew that he said it aloud. He slowly looks back at the sergeant with a broken and tired look, asking the sergeant a straight question for the first time.
" Is that all you wish to know "?

Kuwamori listened to Yori's tale in silence. Quietly taking the information in, and not wanting to seem rude by interrupting. Though from the story, he couldn't help but agree that Yori's brother should be brought to justice for using a child's life as a bargaining chip to drive Yori away. That was straight up, detestable. He could understand the slightly tone of sadness in the word as he finished. Hindsight and regret, at a course of action not taken. But it wasn't like a man could change the past. He however could make the most of the future, and from the sounds of it. Kuwamori didn't think that Yori was.
" Is that all you wish to know "?
Now that was indeed the question, but two last question did come to mind. Something he felt he had to ask before he would excuse himself in order to report back what he had learned. Thought it took him a moment to decide which of them he should ask first. "Are you happy though? I mean here as a mere soldier, someone who could end up on the front lines as the land is slowly taken by wars. Someone who could die out in the field, leaving his brother to govern things back home. Without you no longer being in position to pass on guidance to your people, to help them when you make it sound like he cannot, or will not?" He hoped that the question didn't come across too rude. It was meant to be a thought provoking question, and while he didn't expect Yori to give him a answer as he may not of had one. He hoped it would at least, make him to and think of one, if only for himself. "And also, would you rather I keep this to myself? I know it may be going against orders. But this is clearly a personal matter. Your insistence to be called by name, is uncommon Yori-san." Kuwamori would say, voicing the second of the two questions.

The sergeant's words hit Yori like a wave of cold water. No one has ever asked how he feels or about his own goals or dreams. A strong determined look filled his eyes and he spoke with passion.
" No i don't, i put everything into my home i made it a haven of safety where no man or woman feared for their life or further. I kept the sting of steel the pain of hunger and the fear of the future away from my people. I treated them as my own and our land as my flesh, i will not put my people in harms way for my own selfish reasons, i held back when others would strike. What would you have me do bring war to my home, bring sadness and pain for the sake of justice "!?
Yori pause, to collect himself and spoke to the sergeant in a polite tone.
"My apologizes Sergeant, i was out of line i took my anger out on you. I shouldn't have raised my voice, especially to someone not even involved. To answer your other questions, i believe the captain has a right know and if it makes you more comfortable, then by all means refer to me as Yori-san".

Kuwamori would lean back where he was at Yori's outburst, though the man was quick to apologise about it, and so he wouldn't dwell on it. It was respectful deed to care for his people so much, that he wouldn't risk them in dealing with his brother. The reason that he had tried so hard, to keep war and starvation away, was commendable but with the state the land when tending toward, he couldn't help but think it was a deed that eventually would be impossible to continue. Making a mental note, to tell the captain what he had leant as Yori had given permission Kuwamori would get up, and bow respectfully.
He would turn to leave, but would stop and turn back in order to talk. "Your love for you people is great, your desire to protect them also. But the day may come where the army of the Azai is the only thing between your people and those under another man's banner. Would you not better protect your people when that day come's to be higher up the chain of command. To be in a position to determine where aid should go. To be a example to the men, to be able to lead them. So that they can better protect your people. Just something for you to think about." Kuwamori would say, bowing once more before leaving, and reporting back to the Captain.
---
Yori would be left alone in the tea house, and the rest of the day would pass. However the next morning, both Captain Horigome and Sergeant Kuwamori would come out to meet with Yori, during his daily routine. The Captain having been told about the events and conversation between Yori and Kuwamori, as he had told the Sergeant he would, had come up with some task for the Corperal. Something that would hopefully hit home the conversation between the two yesterday. The Captain would lead Yori, to meet up with a small unit of the First Azai Infantry Brigade. 20 men, all looking more ready then just for a basic patrol. The Captain would wait for Yori to ask what exactly he had planned.

Being lead by both the captain and sergeant to a platoon of twenty men, looking ready for more than a simple partol or training excise. A chill ran up my spine for fear of what they had in mind, i kept control bowed and spoke.
" Captain i apologize for not knowing of this excise and for having both you and the sergeant to escort me here, but i never received word of this excise and i will accept the demerits for my inattention ".
I kept with the most obvious response not to jump to conclusions and say something idiotic. Why would they go out of their way and possibly get themselves court marshalled for my personal issues?

The captain smiled at what Yori said. Modersty wasn't a bad trait in a man, neither was watching what you said. A question in the wrong place to the wrong person could be bad for a person. A uneducated remark could cause much trouble, and admitting you didn't know or understand what was going on sometimes was the best course of action. Standing up straighter, the captain gestured for Sergeant Kuwamori to join the other men, and he did so after a quick bow. Moving closer to Yori, and speaking quietly, so other wouldn't over hear, Captain Horigome explained.
"It quite simple 'Corporal' Fujii. There is a choice ahead of you." He started emphasising the man's rank as to show him that knowledge of his status wasn't going to change they way he was treated. "I have spoken to his lord about you. I know that he wanted to have your brother dealt with but stayed his hand, respecting your wishes that you not risk putting your people in harms way." The captain would say, there was some respect for that in his tone, as well a edge of disagreement, he found it to be naive. "However Lord Azai also understands, that a man who will use a child life as a bargaining chip, probably would have no qualms doing so with any others of his people should dire times arrive." The captain, continued before sighing and looking over to the men.
"However after discussing it with Lord Azai he feels like the choice should be put forward again. There are two villages, he sees that need assistance. One is your own, which need a leader who respects the people, and as such would follow. The other is a village, that has been having trouble dealing with what seem to be soldiers who deserted from a battle in the east, and have come west ward to escape the ire of their lords or enemies."
"This unit will be marching, either to your village or the other, and the choice of which rests with you. Just know, that while we may drive off men from the second village, if we failed to eradicate them, and only push them else where. Then the next most likely village they would turn to would be your own. That sort of situation arising is one of the reason his Lord fear leaving your brother in your home."

By what the captain just stated deserter have occupied a village nearby my own. Yori stands at attention knowing that his status would not change how he would be treated and asks the captain a few questions.
" What is the current size of the deserters forces, are their any note worthy warriors, do they know we are coming and how is the town they have occupied faring "?
These are things anyone must know, charging blindly into a fight is a certain to get you and your friends killed. If their is know information available at least we know there location and we can safety scout out them enemy and plan are attack. Yori already had his planned formed wait stood at attention for any information the captain could give to strengthen his plan.

The captain took in the questions ask, and thought back to the information they had before speaking in order to relay the answers. "Anywhere between 10 to 20 men all told. We think they were part of a single unit, so it likely that they have at least someone of a higher rank and probably more battle experiences. As for if they know we're coming, it is doubtful. As for the village, so far we think no one being seriously hurt. That intimidation has been their main means of holding them." The captain explained before, taking a step towards the unit.
"So made your decision it seems?" He added looking over his shoulder. The fact that Yori was asking some many question about the village other then his own, made him think that the younger man would be thinking of taking the men to their aid, sticking to keeping away from his own home unless it was absolutely needed.

The information filled the borders of Yori's plan, painting a clear picture. Still at attention facing the captain he reveals his plan.
" Captain we should reach the enemy occupied village by nightfall, and scout the outer area, if they are not aware of are presence. We will surround the village and attack silently, at the same time taking out the sentries and leaving them no time to mount counter attack defense measures. They will most likely hole themselves up in a small defensible building if they have the chance, however it will be their undoing. This will avoid unnecessary bloodshed, but i have a back up plan in place if we are spotted. After dealing with the deserters i will personally deal with the matters of my town. Tomorrow their will be a festival which it turn means the guard will be out partoling the town in full force. There is a secret escape tunnel made by the third Lord of my town, that leads into the manor. This will allow me access to get in an out undetected and-do what needs to be done ".
Bowing again to the captain and in a loud driven voice Yori asks
" Captain your word is all i need to commence the operation and right what is wrong "!

Well that had worked better then he could have hoped. Though he had to admit that, the young lord was a ambitious one. Not only did he want to help those in the village other then his own, but had basically said he planed to go back home immediately afterwards in order to deal with his brother the following day. "Well then Corporal get to it, explain to the men and get them moving. Sergeant Kuwamori, go get my horse. Let get this done." The captain would order loudly, and the Sergeant would quickly rush off to get, the captains horse.
Though while Yori made it sound he planned to go to his home by himself once they got this done. The men here, those who were still standing after the job was done. Would probably be willing to follow if they had to. While they didn't know Yori's story, the fact the captain did probably would push them to action again if Yori wanted it. Yori would be able to explain things quite quickly, and then they would set off. By nightfall like Yori had said, they would be able to see the village in need of assistant in the distance.
It would be then, that his choices on how to get the men to proceed, could quite easily change the out come of the day.

Arriving close by the occupied village a safe distance away as to not be spotted, Yori surveyed the village area. It was a very basic underdeveloped farm town no walls but it had a town center. with a inn and a small market. The village had four entry points all seemed to be manned by two sentries, it was a basic set up no makeshift alarms or partols most likely the had shifts and the rest were holed up in the inn. With his reconnaissance finished he turned to the men behind him.
" Alright heres the plan, theres four points of entry with two sentries on watch. Will be breaking into four groups of five, The Captain will lead the first group taking the north side. The Sergeant will take the west, I'll be leading the east. We need a group leader for south, who thinks they have what it takes "?
One of the soldiers steps for at attention
" I have it sir ".
Yori walks towards the man getting inches from the soldier's face
" You'll be responsible for are south side you could cause a lot of deaths including your own if you blow it. So i'll ask again do you have what it takes"!
Without hesitation the soldier speaks
" Sir yes sir i am from this village sir i would give my life to defend it sir "
Yori steps back and continues on explaining the plan.
" Two of each of the groups will close in on the sentries positions while the other two stay back out sight and provide support if necessary. While the last will stay out of the village to communicate between the other groups. It is inpairative that we strike at the same time, look to your man to see when it's time to strike. After we deal with the sentries will rally at the inn, stay out of sight i cannot stress this enough. Now any questions?

Yori wouldn't noticed the fact that he had managed to make a mess up with numbers. There were 20 men, plus the Captain, Sergeant and Himself, not including. As such the Captain would point at the last 3 men who if they split in to groups of 5 would be left over. Pointing for one of them to join each group, but not his own. Even so the men would be able to start putting Yori's plan into action. The Captain and Sergeant would be one of the two soldier on their groups to go forth to try and deal with the sentries. Their age and experience would shine through and they would be able to dispose of the sentries on the north and west side of the village without letting the alarms be raised.
Yori and and the man who had stepped up to lead the south team however, things wouldn't go exactly as Yori had hoped. The men to the south would be able to deal with the sentries on the south side. However they would spot down the way look out near to the inn. The couldn't really see the guards on the south or the men of the unit from where they were, but they would be unable to get in to the town from this direction without definitely being seen. As such he made the men of his unit stay out of sight and wait. They would be ready to charge in to give assistant when they heard it was needed, but he remembered what Yori had said about not getting spotted.
Yori's side while it wouldn't go perfectly, it wouldn't be as annoying as the events on the south. They would be able to take down the sentries, however Yori would also spot another pair. Who were coming this way. They could easily be ambushed once they reached where the guards had been, and the proceed. But it would delay his group. Which could lead to the Captain's and Sergeants reaching the inn without any back up. Unless he came up with a quicker way to deal with them. So that his group cold move on.

The shift change poked a small hole in Yori's plan, However he and his second hid the bodies and quickly told his three supports to go around the village to each entry point and get a progress report. The three went in the direction least likely to be spotted by the on coming shift. Then Yori signalled to his watchman/communicator, to tell the others to hold position. With the plan back on track and Yori and his second positioning themselves to ambush the next shift, he mutters to himself.
" good thing the captain pointed out the three unused men ".

Yori men he sent out to check on the others would be able to get a progress report. The captain, and sergeants would stop and await some signal to let them all move in on the Inn at the same time. While the southern group would still be unable to move in with out alerting the soldiers on the side of the Inn they were on, and as such if the joined the assault the men inside the inn would be alerted before the others got their.
Either all 4 groups could go in and hit the Inn hard in order to over power them, even though they were alerted.
Or the southern group could wait until the other 3 groups attacked by surprise, and join in a little bit after. They wouldn't be there for the initial assault but the enemy wouldn't be alerted to the presences of the Azai troops.

With his men back with their report the choice was simple. All the teams excluding the south team, would move to eliminate the lookouts on the south side. This will allow us to remain undetected while we converge on the inn, we don't really know how many are actually in the inn and it would be best not to alert a possible large force to are presence. With his path decided Yori signalled his watchman to signal the west and north to move in.
The unaware enemy lookouts proved no match and were easily silenced. Yori signals the south team to regroup, while they motion over Yori peers inside the inn to see what their numbers are. Their actually seems to be only three remaining drinking and harassing the local women. Yori faces his fellow Azai and tells them to surround the inn and charge in at the same time and eliminate the remaining deserters. Forcing them to surrender would be to risky and is not necessary, but be careful of the women and do not underestimate the enemy.

Yori and the forces would be able to deal with those on look out, and approach the inn ready to attack. Inside their would indeed be 3 more men remaining that could be seen. Hassling a pair of women for drinks. Among them, one of the deserters appeared to be more heavily armoured. A pair of swords leaning beside him., one full length Katana, as well as a short blade. The Azai troops would surround the building and charge in hoping to deal with those that remained. However Yori would have made a miscalculation.
As the men charge in to attack, the armoured man. Quite obviously the leader reacted in only a fraction of a second. One hand grabbing the small of his two weapons, while another arm would grab one of the women being made to serve them. "We're under attack." He would shout, and the two other men in the room would also grab weapons before the Azai could reach them, as well as having been over looked another 3 would come almost falling down the stairs.
The battle would be a brief one, but didn't put a end to the situation. The 5 lower ranked men of the deserter would fall, but they would injury some among the Yori's men before they fell, including Sergeant Kuwamori. The leader of the deserts would be left alone, blade held to the women throat. A confident look in his eye's. The remaining Azai men could probably deal with him. But it would put the women's life on the line. The man's eyes were dark, the expression of a professional killer, glinting in his eyes.

With the sergeant and a few others injured, the captain and remaining men surrounded the lone deserter. The deserter tightens his grip on the woman and leans his blade closer to the woman's neck, before he could say his demands Yori yelled out what he was going to say.
" Back off or i'll cut this bitches neck "!
The captain the deserter and the other Azai soldiers surrounding him pause in slight confusion. The deserter's attention focused on Yori, who was checking on his injured allies now looking at him blankly. Again Yori answered before he could say his words.
" Don't fuck with me kid or i'll kill you first "!
The deserter fell silent, leering at Yori with absolute hatred. Yori quietly apologized to his injured allies for his error, and moves towards a table where the deserter was originally sitting. As he casually moved towards the table he calmly spoke to the deserter.
" You should be more kind to the young lady and not throw both of your lives, or just yours away by doing something as foolish killing her or charging off without her to kill a kid. Think of it as marriage, till death do us part ".
The deserter had been drinking which affected his thinking, but now he's also in a rage over this childs words. All of his focus was on Yori, and in his quiet brooding unknowingly lowered his sword from the woman's throat slightly. Seating himself at the deserter's table Yori positions himself and the chest that was on top of the table with the man's drinks. Opening the chest revealing eighteen large separate coin purses. Taking one out Yori unties the purse and dumps the contents on the ground. The deserter becomes even more irritated and begins to grit his teeth and fidgets slightly. Yori continues to take out purses and dump them while talking to the man.
" They say money is the route of all evil apparently it might also have it's greedy hands in stupidity as well. I have to know honestly what was your plan "?
The deserter pauses and was about to tell him to fuck himself, but Yori responsed before he could say it.
" Fuck off yes that was indeed your plan, but why an ally of the men you robbed and on top of that forcefully occupied a village of the faction you fled to. It must be the gold, i doing you a favor clearing your mind by disposing the cause of your stupidity ".
Yori reaches the final bag holds it up noticing it's larger then the others looks back to the deserter who know is shaking with anger and has a crazed look to him.
" Oh this must be yours, fitting that the mastermind behind this grand scheme receive the lion's share - don't you agree ".
That last comment from Yori, sent the man into a insane fit of rage. He tossed the woman aside and charged through the Azai soldiers heading directly to Yori. Yori showed no sighs of fear simply tighten his grip on the large coin purse and whipped it straight at the deserter's face. The berserking deserter dodged the orthodox attack, but it gave Yori enough time to ready himself. With Yori at the deserter's front and the Azai soldiers at his back. The deserter became even more ferocious, he snapped, snarled and wildly swung his weapons around keeping his foes at bay.
