While his body was weak and his skin pale everything fell into place to make him appear as a rather beautiful young man. His face always gave off the impression he was slightly younger than he was.

Personality:
Amoriko personality is still much of a child's personality. While being highly intelligent about many things he chooses to make naive choices and decision simply cause he hopes they might better the world. He loves meeting new people, but also to keep them at a distance without them knowing it. His is as honest as he can be when he can be. Seeking to bring about a greater world than the current on he pursue knowledge and kindness. He looks out for those in need of help and tries his best to aid them. Not a large fan of war he does understand it purpose and why it is happening. As such he has given his mind to his lord. Should it aid him in uniting the land with the least amount of causalities. He strives to do his best in everything he can. Learning from those around him is his strong suit. When it comes to fighting he is very inexperience in any form of combat. He excels here in his ability to view the entire situation from every angle that is possible. This ability aids him greatly when he thinks of strategies and ways to respond to things. He finds that the best way to learn about someone is how they make choices on the battlefield. The greatest assest that Amoriko has gained through his past is the ability to stay absolutely calm even in the most dire of times.
History:
Amoriko was born in the village of Oshu. His parents were traveling merchant who taken up a small residence there while they waited for Amoriko to get old enough to travel. The first four years of his life were spent here and most of it is not remembered by him. Shortly after he turned four his parents got ready to begin traveling again. They said their goodbyes and headed north from the village. About a day from Oshu they were attack by a band of brigands. His mother, father, and the others they were taveling with put as best a fight as they could. Though it was not enough a very small village heard the strife and got there in time to save Amoriko.
The people of this village were strange. The village surrounded a small shrine and was deep in the woods. Hidden from the rest of the world. The village acted as such. Amoriko was taken in by the head of village. Not knowing the boys name they gave him their surname, Kiyohara. The couple was not able to have kids of their own. As such they took Amoriko in as one of their own. Shortly after arriving Amoriko got very sick. Not having any knowledge of what he was sick with he spent time with the local herbalist. The herbalist had found a way to stay off the infections that would constantly infect him. As such, Amoriko spent most of his time inside in his room reading and learning from whatever books were brought to him.
His free time was also spent down on the shrine learning of the Gods&Goddess's. He rather frequently prayed and cleaned the grounds when he could. Being stuck inside and constantly sick made him much smaller than the fellow boys of the village and much weaker. His now parents very rarely allowed him to attend the events of the village for fear that his health would diminish even further. So he poured his mind into the books he was given and into reading and learning people. His mind was the only healthy thing he had left.
At fifteen his father figured it was time that he take his naming ceremony. It was an old tradition, but one the village respected. When a man is to come of age they are to choose their own name. Until then they go by whatever their parents decided to name them. In this case Amoriko was called Ko until he was of age. Ko meaning child. The day of his naming ceremony came upon Amoriko faster than he had thought it would. On this morning though his parents found him laying on the floor of his room covered in sweat. He wouldn't rouse to them talking, shaking, or even lightly hitting him. Worried they called the local herbalist to come and see if there was anything that could be down for him. The herbalist said that there was nothing he could do. It would be to late for the boy.
His father decided not to give up on him. They carried him to the local shrine and lay him before the Gods&Goddess's. They prayed that the child before be given a chance to live. Going out they gathered a large amount of flowers and placed them around the boy. There they would sit all night at the boys side. Praying that he be given a chance to make a mark on the world. The night was a harsh one for the two, but come morning Amoriko eye's had opened. Looking forth he saw as his parents were sitting in front of him. Weeping as they were. At that moment his father embraced him and praised the Goddess's of life for allowing him to stay in this. Amoriko told his parents he had a dream of a world filled with peace and without strife. He knew it sounded childish, but it was like a world from the different things he had read. As a child he had always to see a world where everyone worked together. As such he took the name Amoriko. Meaning Lord child. It was meant to constantly remind him of that childhood dream he always had.
The year after this happened was very different for Amoriko. The constant strife of infections he would get seemed to disappear entirely. His body felt strong from the event and healthy. His parents allowed him to go out more and participate in the local festivals. One of the festivals was an archery constant. Also wanting to learn to how to use a bow he pursued his chance and learned the basic's of using the bow and arrow.
Life was still so peaceful and separated from the constant ongoing strife and war as usual. Then, a few days after his seventeenth birthday a recruiter from Date's army came to the village seeking all able bodies to aide the Date forces in battle. His parents not wanting him go due to his childhood. Were not enough to stop him. Taking the bow that he was given from them he left with the man to join the Date army.
