Conquering the Sea [Dungeon]

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro would shoot out blades of darkness to impale the turtles attacking Hidenori and Haji, while he swung his glaive around himself and coated it in fire. The water would part as he swung, leaving these water creatures open to the flames of his weapon, and he was going to cut them all to pieces. He would strike all those around him as fast as he could without relenting, and then go to the aid of whoever needed him most.

[Morei Hidenori]

Receiving a turtle foot to the mouth, Hidenori fell backwards onto the ground in pain. Coming back to his senses, his eyes widened as he saw that same turtle attempt to stab him, only for it to be stabbed by a mass of dark energy. Looking at the source, Hidenori was dumbfounded to see that Takehiro had fired that off. He recalled what Yukimura said, about others with powers... yes, Takehiro was a name that he mentioned alongside Haji, and Katsumi. It wasn't a lie.

"Phew, thanks Takehibro!"

Snapping back to reality, the Uesugi soldier figured he could think about it later. Hopping up to his feet, he grabbed his smaller zanbato, swinging it off of his back at the nearest serpent, planning on cleaving as many as he could.

[Morei Haji]

Nodding to Takehiro for the quick save, I would follow suit, wasting no time in trying to dispatch these foes. Channeling energy into my hand, I would form throwing knives made of pure light, throwing them at every enemy that I could, serpent or turtle, with the intent of piercing straight through them and killing them in one blow.

[Brandt Solveig]

Brandt let something of a smile creep onto his face as the baslisk came for him. The giant would watch as its jaws snapped open. The nord would simply turn, so that when the serpent's jaws snapped down they would do so upon his shield. Which that shield would be activated to blow the Basilisk to bits, and probably any others in proximity as well. If it worked, he would turn to charge and cleave at the next closest thing, be it man-turtle or demon snake.

Takehiro would completely eviscerate everything in his sight, or whatever he could get his glaive on. Haji and Hidenori would take out a couple of enemies each, and Takehiro's attacks would save them from taking any further damage!

Brandt blew the snake to hell! As well as the two snakes around it! Very few enemies were remaining by this point! The remaining ones all charged at the group, hoping to kill something!

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Finding the remaining opponents, Takehiro would launch his glaive into one like a javelin, and then shoot his explosive-whip-fists out at two more, looking to blow them to bits. Hopefully, by then, the other three would have dealt with the remaining two, in which case, Takehiro would just continue to the chest.

"Buranto!" Takehiro would call out whether the enemies were defeated or not. He would reach down and remove his weights, tossing them over to the Nord. "Put 'em on for a little."

[OoC: Weights removed and passed to Brandt. Dex is now 95.]

[Morei Hidenori]

Hidenori would swing his weapon at the nearest enemy, hoping to cleave them in two. If there were still enemies remaining, he would attempt to dispatch them as well in a similar fashion. If he missed or was caught off-guard, he planned to back away and get into a defensive position.

[Morei Haji]

Turning my Seraph's Blade into its whip-sword form again, I planned on slicing through the closest enemy. If any were remaining after my teammates' assaults, I would swing my whip sword at them as well, planning on taking out whatever was left.

[Brandt Solveig]

Brandt would hear Takehiro call his name and immediantly direct his face so that he could sed him out of his peripherals. He would watch him remove his weights and toss the toward him. Brandt would let the land on thenground, knowing how heavy they were, catching it would be stupid right now! He would quickly kneel to put them on as instructed and return to his feet. If there was anything leftnalive, brandt would fire a couple bolts from his crossbow gauntlet to try and finish it.

Whatever Takehiro failed to kill, Hidenori got. Whatever Hidenori failed to kill, Haji got. Whatever Haji failed to kill, Brandt got. Things died all over the place.

A brief moment of respite would fill the room. They could take the treasure and leave, or if they were feeling brave...

[Amakusa Takehiro]

[OoC: Weights would cut Brandt's Dex to 14 while worn., and up to 35 when removed after three rounds.]

Takehiro would smirk at the dead creatures all around the group. Arming his crossbow with two poison arrows, he would take his glaive back in his hands and await whatever threats were likely to continue. He was not going to leave too early. There were sure to be monsters to claim the heads of, and power to be gained.

"Make sure you're all patched up and ready to go."

[Morei Hidenori]

Hidenori blinked. He was surely in powerful company amongst all three of his allies. He was glad he was on their side, and noted that everyone had something special about them. Even his little brother was eons ahead of him in strength.

Hidenori, being the weakest, decided to go up and grab the chest. He didn't want the others to have any sort of hindrance to hold them back.

[Morei Haji]

Not sheathing my blade, I would take a look around after our opponents had fallen. A brief moment of respite after two waves, this was just like Numa Castle. Which meant...

"Hidenori... once you grab that chest, stay on your guard. All of you, remain cautious."

A more powerful foe was bound to show up immediately after. However, I was confident that it was nothing we couldn't handle.

[Brandt Solveig]

Brqndt was surely beginning to enjoy himself. He was in the company of well-versed warriors. It was good to know that he had your back covered, if when you were the type to care less about safety. Brandt would begin to move toward Hidenori as he went to grab the chest. 

"I am at your back, friend.."

Holding his weapon at the ready in front of hjm, Brandt would move in rotation, spinning slowly to keep full 369 comprehension of his surroundings. They had been very sucessful thus far in the water temple. Who knew what strength would rise to meet them now.

Four masses of energy would burst into the room from the various walls as if out of nowhere, landing near the heroes and exploding as they hit the water on the ground. The impact would be enough to send Hidenori and Brandt flying off of their feet, landing them in the water, while Haji and Takehiro would remain unharmed.

Four lizard-like knights would appear in place of the explosions, each one charging at the warriors! The ones targeting Hidenori and Brandt would leap up into the air, planning on bringing their weapons down and impaling them through the chests!

Takehiro's Knight would be armed with a long, splendid glaive, equal in length to his own. It charged, aiming to impale him!

Hidenori's and Brandt's Knights would both be wielding intricate but beautiful greatswords, but there was no time to admire the fine craftsmanship of the blades as they were about to get impaled!

Haji's Knight would be wielding an elegant sword and shield, which looked beautifully crafted. It charged at him, shield raised, and planning on swinging his sword at the boy's throat!

[Amakusa Takehiro]

One of Takehiro's arms would slam downward, aiming to redirect the enemy's glaive and slam it right onto the floor. From there, the whip-fist would shoot out to explode upon the bastard's chest. Takehiro would then follow up by impaling it, and ripping the glaive from its body to rend it into two halves.

If he succeeded, Takehiro would aim a whip-fist at both Hidenori's and Brandt's enemies and send explosives into their backs.

[Morei Hidenori]

Getting hit by an explosion of water, Hidenori would fall to the floor, disoriented. Groaning and trying to regain his senses, he would find a giant fish dude leaping towards him with the plan to impale him with a mighty fine greatsword. Well, that wasn't a mighty fine move of him to make.

Rolling out of the way, Hidenori aimed to avoid the stab, letting the sword go into the ground instead. From there, he would swing his zanbato upwards at an angle in an attempt to slice his opponent in two.

[Morei Haji]

Whistling as I saw the sword and shield my opponent carried, I readied my own as he advanced. My doppleganger would shoot out, rushing to slash out at both of the creatures attacking Hidenori and Brandt with incredible speed, his slashes imbued with my light. Meanwhile, I advanced against my own opponent, aiming to parry his blow with my shield and activating its effect as I planned to spin around him immediately after that, wrapping my whip sword around him with my superior speed. If it managed to get around his body from his neck downwards, I would switch it back to sword form, planning on eviscerating my opponent completely.

[Brandt Solveig]

Brandt was taken aback by the explosion that landed in front of him, forcing him backwards to land upon the shield and his backside. Those pale green eyes would settle upon the weird lizard-human already in the process of jumping toward him with into to harm.

The Nord would act accordingly, lifting those massive.legs up as he aimed to slam his heels into the creatures lower half while his own Zanbato was brought flat across his face and upper chest area angled so that it could deflect the blade coming his way.

If it worked the way he hoped, the creature would have gotten 'hung up' on the heels of his feet, curled at it's midsection. The nord would then thrust upward with his feet to give him a couple inches of air as he would then swing his sword across to cleave it in two while in mid-air.

Takehiro would successfully slay his opponent! He was also able to strike at Hidenori's and Brandt's opponents, giving them ample time for their strikes to connect! Neither attack of theirs would kill the enemies, but they would be gravely injured! In desperation, they turned to attack the two greatsword wielders, despite the heavy injuries!

Haji's opponent would be completely diced into bits as his sword rematerialized! They only had to worry about the two remaining enemies for the time being! However, before Haji and Takehiro could act again, more monster screams rang out!

Four more knights identical to the ones that were just fought appeared, each wielding similar weapons. In addition, twenty two more opponents appeared! Eleven ninja turtles, and eleven mermen!

(OOC: 2 knights slain, kill count total is 32. 26 enemies appeared in addition to 2 remaining opponents. All enemy stats are 30 straight across.)

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Confident that Brandt and Hidenori could finish off the wounded knights, Takehiro took whatever he could from the knight and rose his Takehi-bow and fired two poison bolts in the area of the new opponents. Whoever it hit, he would then charge it and rip his glaive around in a half-circle in front of himself, looking to cleave at least four of them in half. Regardless of the success of the initial attack, he would continue a quick and powerful offense, suppressing the enemy and keeping them from getting any foothold against his allies. He would, however, lay off the explosives.
