For the first time really, there's the chance to possibly roleplay social threads with a daimyo. How cool is that? Yeah, it's the shit. I know. I'm just fucking awesome and horrible like that.

But really. It can just be an awkward social thread, or possibly (especially for mercs) an opportunity to join a really bad-ass faction. What was that? +5 wisdom and +2 to all stats while in the sunlight? Yeah, that's right. Fucking awesome.
