The Mōri faction, currently led by Mōri Motonari, resides in the Aki province by the Seto Sea. Known for their leader's fearsome strategic brilliance and ruthlessness for those who oppose him or try to encroach on his territory, this group is feared and avoided by many. No matter how many men are lost or what Motonari must do, it is widely known that this faction will do whatever necessary to protect and sustain its borders and people. The Chosokabe faction often tries to take their land and are hated enemies of the Mōri.

Myōgyu Fujin – Wife
Watanabe Hajime – Right Hand Man. One of Motonari's most important and most trusted generals, after years ago in battle Hajime saving Motonari's life.
Nomi no Ōkata – Concubine & Spy. Okata is one of the few people Motonari is close to and truly trusts, and she is his number one spy, gathering information on enemies and sniffing out those who seek to or who are committing treason against Motonari.
Mōri Takamoto – Eldest Child & Firstborn Son. Another one of Motonari's trusted generals, his son sticks to his father and his loyalty is unwavering.
Mōri Motoharu – Second Son. Another trusted general and a capable fighter.
Mōri Takakage - Third son. Despite his young age, he is a most capable general and both wise and powerful.
Yosetsu no Kata - First daughter. Eager to please her father, she hopes to one day fight by his side like her older brothers, despite societal views.
