He also has some facial hair. Some black thick sideburns and some bushy eyebrows.

He is a very tall man. The reason for Iyatoshi's height may contribute to gigantism. He is seen wearing a blue kimono and black hakama. His kamon is a fish like creatures circling each other. On his body he has a tattoo of a sea dragon on his belly.



Personality: Iyatoshi is the samurai equivilent to Al Capone. He enjoys his luxury and delights. He is also in touch with his family. Both his family and lords are the only ones who sought his mercy. On the other hand he is quite tempermental and vicious. He does not hesitate to kill those who shown disrespect to him. Ruthless and Brutal upon his enemies. But Iyatoshi isn't made of stone as he is willing to help certain people to his own gain. He has the tendancy to help young men in trouble in exchange of giving him their complete loyalty.



History: Iyatoshi Minamoto was born in Aki. Born to a noble family and next in line to become the head of the family. At his early years he had some struggle establishing his place in the family against his highly ambitious younger brother Itawari Minamoto. Eventually Itawari had stopped trying to take over as heir and accepted Iyatoshi Minamoto through a fierce fight. Iyatoshi could have killed his younger brother for his uprising. But he shed some mercy and allow his younger brother to live as long as he never again raise his sword against him.



During his younger days his father had served under Mōri Motonari. After his father leaves the Minamoto clan to him. Iyatoshi continued to serve under Motonari like an honorable son should. However Iyatoshi's loyalty to Motonari begins to waver for a stronger and more ambitious leader. Iyatoshi now seeks of a new lord for his family to serve under. If they can overcome his current one.

Small changes are all you need to make and you'll be good to go.

1) We use the Family-Name-First thing on the board, so it'd be Minamoto Iyatoshi, if you don't mind.
2) The Mori are actually thriving at this year, and following board canon, they will continue to be thriving for a loooooong time. Most of the war, unless players change that. So the detail about them being a dying clan kind of makes things seem a little convoluted unless it's only personal perception on the clan, in which case it might be alright.
3) Iyatoshi is INCREDIBLY tall for a Japanese guy, which isn't against the rules, but I'd like some sort of explanation. Recessive genes, European blood in his family, a sort of "disability" that made him grow to be so large. Even "He was said, due to his size, to be born with the blessings of the God of War, Bishamonten himself."
