He decided on the middle chamber to start his path to gaining some rewards. He stood at the door with his cane in hand, watching around for any sort of thing that approached. He heard of this place, that he could train and grow stronger. He would plan ahead for every battle, so that he wouldn't be overrun by a horde. Of course he didn't know about this place at all...why did he come here again?

Path: MIDDLE CHAMBER. Your objective is to slay as many monsters as possible, retrieve the Daimyo's treasure, and making it back to the entrance. More enemy deaths will yield better rewards for the player. Death or incapacitation of your character will lead to failure.

- Bronze: Defeat 15 enemies
- Silver: Defeat 30 enemies
- Gold: Defeat 60 enemies
- Platinum: Defeat 100 enemies

As Roman's cane touched the door of the middle chamber, the door would ripped open, pulling him inside with a wave of dark energy, and the door would quickly seal off behind him. If he looked, it would be covered with a dark void of energy that he could not bypass, as he would immediately be hit by a cloud of smoke, which smelled of death and decay. The chamber was large, at least twenty feet high and eighty wide, though the length of it was hard to tell. Bodies of the dead lined the walls and floor, and as he climbed to his feet, the dead would let out shrieks of terror and pain, standing to their feet and charging at him!

Roman was surprised by the power of the castle, he got up from the floor. Using his cane as leverage to quickly spring himself up, than prepared for the assault. He played it smart, while they charged at him. Roman would dash towards the left side of the enemy, so that only a few had the chance to strike while the others might have to re-position themselves. Pulling his blade from his cane, he readied his fencing stance. Trying to cut off the head of the few in the way, while moving into a defensive stance with his cane sheath to be used as a guard to block incoming attacks in his free hand.

Roman would be amazingly lucky! He would manage to lop off the heads of three of the samurai, causing them to drop like sacks of potatoes, while the other seven would be forced to re-position themselves, letting out shrieks of pain as they went to swarm him once more!

He stood his ground, aiming his blade towards the creatures. Getting in his fencing stance and waiting for the first one to reach his blade. Striking forward with a vertical slash, aiming to clear another few of the evil creatures. Making sure that his cane sheath was ready to block a few incoming attacks, should his assault not reach it's mark.

Roman would manage to slash a couple of the samurai, but it was not enough to take them down. Shrieking angrily at him, four of them would slash at him, leaving four shallow cuts on his arms, while the other three would leap towards him, swinging their katanas down at him, aiming to cleave him!
