Here on The Warring States, we use a stat system to reward players for the progress and achievements! There are five categories, and you are given 50 points to distribute between them. You may have no less than five, and no more than fifteen in any category to start. The stat categories are explained below.
Strength: The overall strength of your character. It affects their strength in hand-to-hand combat, and is also used as a requirement to use certain armor and weapons. This also allows the character to be more proficient with polearms, maces, and other large weapons.
Constitution: How much can your character take? This affects their natural defense, and their stamina. It will also serve as a requirement for certain weapons and armor. One point in constitution increases both aspects. Certain items may increase one or the other, or both.
- Natural Defense: How tough is your character's skin, without armor? This decides how much they can take before they go down.
- Stamina: This dictates how long your character can maintain extensive physical activity before they tire.
Dexterity: Your character's speed and agility. The higher it is, the faster and more nimble your character. This also allows them to be more proficient with smaller weapons, like knives and sickles, and dual-wielding. This is broken up into three categories: movement speed, attack speed, and agility. One point in dexterity increases all three. Certain items may increase any one, or all of them.
- Movement Speed: How fast your character can run.
- Attack Speed: How fast your character can attack.
- Agility: How high and far your character can jump, and how nimble they are.
Wisdom: Wisdom affects your character's overall intelligence and battle knowledge. The wiser the character, the more knowledgeable they are in battle, and the more likely they are to see an attack coming.
Spirit: Spirit is your character's Musou capacity. It affects your Musou strength and proficiency. The higher your Spirit, the stronger your Musou is, and the easier it is to use.
