"What a pain..."

I twisted my wrist, reverting the whip back into a blade and slicing it free of the enemy that it was lodged in. Quickly the blade would snap back into form and I would sheathe it. As the enemies came rushing at me to impale me I jumped into the air doing a forward somersault.

"ONE MORE TIME! HITEN MITSURUGI-RYUU RYUUKANSEN-ARASHI!"

I roared the attack's name out ferociously. Something I don't normally do even though I guess I had done it twice. Something about this attack felt special. I pulled my sword free of the sheath, with no air resistance on the blade because it was drawn from the sheath, the attack power would be raised. I slashed the blade out horizontally but because I was in a forward somersault, it would rotate me diagonally, fast enough to create a 360 degree barrier around me. I twisted my wrist to transform it into a whip once more, allowing the barrier better shape. I aimed to hit the enemies falling from on top of me as well as the ones waiting below me. Hopefully anything caught in this attack would be shredded by the steel whip.

Masahiro's attack would be a massive success! Slaying not only the remaining five undead soldiers, but the five creatures as well!

If he looked across the room, an large door of light would open up, revealing an ornate chest behind it, identical to the one he previous obtained in the other path, the Daimyo's treasure!

I landed on the ground on both feet as pieces of the monsters fell around me. It appeared that I had destroyed every last enemy that had approached me. The Arashi... it was immensely powerful.

"Hmph... I expected no less."

I looked over as the door of light opened up. I stepped up to it and grabbed the chest. This wasn't enough. I had to go on. I had to keep on fighting. I could feel myself getting stronger... That was good. I had to continue getting stronger.

As soon as Masahiro grabbed the chest, he would hear unearthly screams throughout the entire room. If he looked at the walls, he would see 8 creatures bursting in through the walls! And on the floor from the other side of the room, mounds of darkness would grow from the ground, bursting and revealing the swift Crawlers!

All would be charging at Masahiro, intent on tearing him limb from limb!

I sheathed my sword quickly, readying myself. I waited till they were close enough to me from the front. SOURYUUSEN! I pulled my sword out of my sheathe with immense force. Once again the lack of air resistance against the blade, since it would be pulled from the sheath, would make the force of the blade stronger. I transformed the blade into a whip and did a horizontal slash against them all.

Masahiro's assault would successfully slay the slower creatures, but before he could react, the crawlers would be on him! He would find himself kicked to the ground, and the crawlers would continue to stop and kick him while he was done! Additionally, his weapon would be dropped and one of the crawlers would kick it away from Masahiro by a horrible stroke of luck!

Dammit I was knocked to the ground again. This time my blade was thrown from me. Luckily for me... my sword wasn't my only weapon. I threw my left hand up grabbing one of the crawlers by the throat. I launched the hidden blade from the vambrace. Hopefully it would stab the crawler in the throat and kill it. I would then attempt to smack the other crawlers with him. I retracted the blade into my vambrace and made a dash for my blade. If I was able to grab it, I would swing it in a horizontal slash, attempting to hit the crawlers with it.

Masahiro would successfully stab and kill the crawler with his hidden blade! He'd be able to throw the body off of him and make a dash for his sword, but he wouldn't make it, as he would be tripped, just inches from the blade and landing face first! The remaining six crawlers then proceeded to kick and stomp on him while he was on the ground!

Dammit I wasn't able to reach my blade. I guess I had no choice but to fight with my hidden blade. I thrusted my hand up, shooting the blade out aiming to stab another one in the throat. If that worked, I would swing my arm in a horizontal arc, attempting to slice each of their throats in one move. If I couldn't slice them, I hoped that at the very least it would be enough to get them to back off. If it was, I would make another mad dash to my sword and pick it up.

Masahiro would manage to slay the first crawler by stabbing it in the throat, as well as two of the others as he slashed for their throats! The others would back away with minor injuries, kicking him hard in the stomach and sending him flying back. Luckily, he landed near his sword! But he had to act quick, for the remaining three were advancing upon him quickly!

Quickly I grabbed my sword off the ground, continuing to use it as a sword. RYUUKANSEN! I spun around in a 180 degrees to face the enemy, while slashing my sword horizontally. Hopefully that made short work of them, but if it didn't... RYUUSOUSEN! I launched a flurry of attacks, beginning with an upward diagonal slash from my right at the one all the way to my right. From there, I did a horizontal slash at the one in the middle. Doing a straight vertical slash, I ended by attacking the one on my left. To finish it all off, I launched a crude round house kick to hit them all using my left foot. Since I probably wasn't strong enough to launch them anywhere, I took the time to use a horizontal arc slash from my right hand, going from right to my left. Hopefully that finished them.

Masahiro would prove most successful, slaying the rest of the enemies without much of a fight! Before he could kill the last one, it would spit on his face before dying! But hey, he was dead! Hopefully that didn't give him some kind of disease!

It seemed everything was quiet. Masahiro could either try to leave with the chest, or...

I killed them all. As if my attack ever had a chance of failing. I was far too good for that. I wiped the spit off of my face and looked at the monster I had just slain. I pressed my foot on it's skull and crush it under my heel.



"Repugnant, impudent creature. To think you stood a chance against me."



I stepped up to the chest and threw it alongside the other one I had collected from earlier. I looked around. There was an ominous feeling. I knew I wasn't done yet.



"Come out Monster! FACE ME!"

Masahiro would find a ball of darkness slamming into his chest, sending him flying back. If he looked up, he would see...



A fearsome, armored knight standing before him. In his hand, a blade coated in lightning could be seen. The knight pointed this weapon at Masahiro before slashing at him, a wave of lightning traveling in his direction!

I was hit in my chest and sent flying. I flipped in mid air to recover myself. I looked at the monster that had just attacked me. It looked vicious... This was more like it. I landed on the ground and started running at the side to dodge the lightning strike. I jumped and rolled forward barely dodging it. I could feel the surge of energy from five feet away. I twisted my wrist turning my blade into a whip attempting to hit the monster's weaponed arm and wrap the whip around it. I had to get him to drop the sword.

The whip would wrap around the monster's arm, but instead of causing him to drop the sword, he would use that whip against Masahiro! He'd pull him close with the whip, and pull him up and over, slamming him into the ground on the other side! He'd also stab at him with the lightning sword, and if he wasn't quick, he'd be impaled through the chest!

I rolled over to the left to dodge the sword stab. Hopefully the force of the stab would make the monster get the sword stuck in the ground. I twisted my wrist to revert the whip into a blade and hopefully cut the monsters arm off at the elbow. If it worked, I would throw a kick at the monster, hopefully hard enough to push him away from the blade.
