Name: Takeda Shingen
Faction: Takeda
Ethnicity: Japanese
Age: 39
Gender: Male
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 168 lbs
Eye Color: Black
Hair Color: Black
Appearance:
Underneath his armor, Shingen has a large, imposing frame. His muscles are large and defined, though his age and preference for using strategy and wit to overcome his foes have slightly decreased his muscle mass, though this does not make him any less dangerous by any means. Though more pacifistic than his rival Uesugi Kenshin, Shingen is still incredibly strong and agile, and can bulldoze and flatten his enemies if he so chose to. His body is riddled with battle scars, reminders of past battles he has fought, and of future battles he will have to face.
Personality: Although Shingen can be hot-blooded, he possesses a brilliant mind and strategic genius, and has seen his fair share of wars. In spite of his reputation, he strives to create allies at every opportunity and avoids annihilating his opponents whenever possible. He cares for his troops and his own people greatly, and in turn, his troops care a lot about him and has their total respect.
History: Takeda Shingen, born in the year 1521, rules over the province of Kai. The eldest son of Takeda Nobutora, he was born Takeda Katsuchiyo, but was later given the formal name of Takeda Harunobu. In 1551, his name was changed again when he became a monk to a Buddhist name, Takeda Shingen. Having taken over control of power from his father, who wished to replace him with his younger brother, Nobushige, after a great number of conquests and wars, Shingen rose to power and eventually became a daimyo, controlling a large amount of territory, while working to repel neighboring lords wishing to take control of his land. With the threat of Nobunaga on the rise, there would be more battles for him to face in the coming times ahead.
Musou: Upon activation, all of Shingen's attacks become imbued with the Fire element, allowing him to inflict third degree burns on his opponent or even burn them to ashes. He can also send out blasts of Fire energy, which seem to do the same thing.
Fire Ball: Shingen forms a ball of Fire energy in his hand. He can use this to strike an enemy dealing damage equal to his Spirit stat. If he were to strike the ground, he would deal damage equal to 1/2 his Spirit stat to anyone within a 10 yard radius from the blast.
Flame Pillars: Shingen is able to create pillars of fire that he can envelop his opponent in or send along the ground at.
Fire Doppelganger: Shingen is able to summon a doppelganger of pure fire with stats equal to his Spirit. The doppelganger is constantly in Musou, dealing Fire damage with all of its attacks, and has Shingen's equipment and abilities. Lasts one post for every 5 Spirit.
