Appearance
Gabriella Santos is a small framed girl, with long dark brown hair. Her skin at the lighter side of olive skin, and with angular facial features. She is often seen wearing make-up more like those from her home land then Japan, and while wear’s a traditional Japanese kimono at most times, it has been altered to completely cover her left arm. Underneath the kimono, Gabriella is two toned. Her left arm and side been under developed, smaller in size the her right, which is more toned from having done more work in her life.
Personality
At most times Gabriella looks peaceful and happy, however this is a complete lie and façade. She is always in pain, and often on some form of drug, or drink in order to numb it away. As well as to help cope with the bitterness she feels over her non-functional arm. She hate people that think they are better than her, not because they know differently but a quick judgements. If she feels that she has been slighted in some way, she will attempt to tip the balance back in her favour first by manipulating other if she can to get what she want. And if unable to do so, will attempt to teach them a lesson herself. When someone accepts her for who she is, she doesn’t quite understand. She is so use to be ridiculed growing up that when she find someone who accepts her that she clings to them hopefully. Out of a sense of constant justification of her worth.
History
Gabriella's life has been a mixed bag of good and bad. Having been afflicted with unusable left arm for pretty much her entire life, most would have been in a much worse position then her. Daughter to a wealthy influential Portuguese trader. Gabriella's father is one of those who, help bring the amount of guns in Japan up over recent years. This had led to him having enough money to spoil his daughter, and give her everything she wanted.
However while this money, easily supplied the growing dependence on drugs to deal with pain. It did not truly give Gabriella what she wanted out of life. She wanted freedom, to not have to be protect and doted upon. And so one day, Gabriella begged her father to allow her to visit the lands, that he so often talked about. At first her father had been against the idea. But after many crocodile tear, Gabriella managed to convince her father to allow her to accompany him on his next trip to Japan.
Gabriella grew to love this strange new land she hadn't seen. Even amongst the chaos of the times. And was dead set on staying. Though much bargernin of her fathers part, Gabriella was eventually set up with a reasonable life in Japan as a friend of the Oda. Gabriella's father's main business partner of Japan.
