Control the Wind [Katsumi|Musou]

[Shinomori Katsumi]

She landed lightly on her feet, the distance not too far and the wind keeping her falling at dangerous speeds. Through the pitch black, Katsumi saw what appeared to be a sharp. It was similar to the orb she saw earlier, and the wind was drawn to it.

Inching forward, the archer would use the arrow in her hand, brushing the feathers at its end against the shard and waiting to see what would happen.

The wind faltered a little as she touched the orb with the feathers, but, other than that, there was no real noticeable affect. On the plus side, there were no dangerous side-effects that caused pain or anything!

[Shinomori Katsumi]

The main worry was about bad side-effects from touch, but nothing really seemed to happen when the feathers brushed against the shard, and so Katsumi put the arrow back into its quiver. Hesitantly reaching out, Katsumi would eventually cup her hands around it and bring it closer to her form, peering down at the shard and observing it.

Upon touching the shard, Katsumi would feel a small surge of energy rush through her as the wind seemed to be sucked into her! She would feel light as a feather, and the room would illuminate! If she listened, she could hear the sound of the door creaking open!

The room illuminated and Katsumi winced, furrowing her brow. She felt blinded momentarily, her eyes taking a few moments to adjust, and when they did Katsumi would stand tall. It was an odd sensation. As though the wind itself was being sucked into her, and Katsumi felt so very light.

At hearing the door crack open, Katsumi glanced up and pursed her lips. Stepping back, the archer would run towards the wall before jumping up, hoping to be able to climb out.

As she jumped, Katsumi seemed to clear it in a single bound, her body leaving the hole with ease inhuman! As she would near the door, the shard would begin to glow!

[Shinomori Katsumi]

Holy hell! She made it with a single bound, and her jaw practically dropped to the floor. It felt almost as though she were gliding, and all with ease.

Upon nearing the door, the shard glowed and Katsumi would try to open the door and see if it would work.

[Oda Nobunaga]

The door opened, and Katsumi would be free to go back out to the main chamber! There were still three doors she'd left unchecked, after all.

It opened and there were three other doors to check. Katsumi suspected she needed to gather other shards like this, slipping it within her wrap, and went forward, opening the right door and waiting to see what would happen next.

[Oda Nobunaga]

Opening the door on the right, Katsumi would once again get pulled into the room, and the door would seal shut behind her. Inside, she would see another shard of the orb, and strong winds rotated around the room. There seemed to be pressure tiles at each corner of the room. Iron bars could be found along the walls. They looked like hand holds.

At this point, Katsumi wasn't surprised about being sucked inside and the door slamming shut. This time, the girl didn't even attempt to try and open it, instead her keen eyes searching the room. There was another shard floating in the air and gusts of wind. It didn't seem like going forward was the right choice, and she saw the pressure tiles at each corner of the room and the iron bars all along the walls.

Was she supposed to go work through the wind and go around the room, pressing the tiles?

Normally tiles were something the girl avoided, but she needed to at least see what they would do. And so Katsumi went to the closest bar and began to pull herself forward against the wind towards the nearest corner of the room, reaching out for each bar and bringing herself closer and closer until she reached it, if able.

Katsumi would be able to pull herself along the bars, but the wind would take her body, requiring her hold to be as strong as she could manage. Her legs would be up in the air, straining her arms, by the time she even made it above the first pressure tile. To reach it, it would take a strong use of all her arm, core, and leg muscles.

The wind was powerful and Katsumi's legs were up in the air. It took all of her strength just to move herself forward. Soon enough, she was panting, and her long hair was no longer in its ponytail, locks whipping about her face.

"Uuurgh!"

She grunted, finally at the end and having to use all of her strength to bring her legs down to the tile. Her facial features contorted and she bit down on her bottom lips, a trickle of blood escaping as she busted her lip while using all of the strength in her petite body to be able push down the tile.

[Oda Nobunaga]

As the the tile was pushed, a hole opened up underneath the orb, and a good portion of the wind traveled down inside of it. Now the circumference and power of the whirlwind seemed to lessen, and it would not be so hard for her to move. Though, her body was still in the air, only supported by the bar.

It was a relief to see all of that hard work pay off, and when the wind lessened, Katsumi took a few minutes to rest as she clung to the bar. She panted and waited until her heart-rate and breathing regulated for moving on to the next tile, pulling herself along. While it was considerably easier than before, it still took a good deal of strength and she would take a few breaks here and there, before reaching the second and doing the same as before until she pushed down on the tile.

The second tile would be pushed down much easier! Though, this time, the holes that appeared were around the other pressure plates, and by now, the wind died down enough that she could walk if she chose to!

Huzzah! Success!

The wind died down more and Katsumi was finally on her feet again. Since the wind around the shard was still powerful, the archer stuck to the wall, heading towards the next tile. Because of the new hole, Katsumi would jump forward and land on the third tile.

[Oda Nobunaga]

The third tile sunk in, and every tile that was not a pressure tile collapsed, leaving a large hole filled with a giant current of wind inside of it! There was a single panel left, it seemed!

"Shit."

All of the tiles fell and Katsumi grimaced. Guess this meant she had to test how far she could jump, huh? Closing her eyes and taking a deep breath, mustering up her courage, the girl opened them and leaped towards the other tile.

It was incredibly how light she felt, almost like that of a feather, and the sensation... why, it was what she imagined birds to feel like! It was simply exhilarating!

Katsumi would basically soar through the air with such grace, she seemed even more majestic than any winged creature ever could! And then she would land face-first into the wall, and then fall on top of the pressure tile, activating it. All of the tiles collapsed, now, and it seemed she was... floating, in mid-air!

[Shinomori Katsumi]

Despite how incredible the feeling felt, there were unfortunately no breaks on this thing (or she hadn't figured it out yet) and Katsumi's face slammed against the wall.

"Gah!"

Falling on the tile, the girl rubbed her face and grumbled, pouting her lips, until she realized that... HOLY SHIT SHE'S FLOATING??!! Brown hues practically bulged out of her eye sockets and her mouth gaped. This was some seriously crazy awesome shit right here!

Raising her legs, Katsumi would kick off from the wall and head towards the floating shard, all the while trying to figure out how to work this shit.

[Oda Nobunaga]

Taking the other shard in her hand, it would seem the current of wind surrounded solely her, leaving the rest of the room! She would remain floating, and, if she tried hard enough, she would be able to direct the wind in the direction she wanted to go!

[Shinomori Katsumi]

She was able to take hold of the shard, turning it in her hand. The wind went around her and it seemed as though Katsumi had control. The girl began to test it out in bursts, finding the whole matter quite curious.

Eventually, she would figure it out enough to make her way towards the door and open it, if it would allow her to.

[Oda Nobunaga]

Katsumi would find that, after a while, she had decent control of the winds surrounding her. As she approached the door, it would open without incident, and both of the shards would begin to glow!

[Shinomori Katsumi]

"Beautiful," she would murmur as she made it out of the room and the shard began to glow.

Brown hues took in the sight for a few moments, admiring the glowing shards, and she would try to piece them together, before moving towards the other door on that level and opening it, making sure to secure her shit beforehand.
