[Uesugi Kenshin]

"I know exactly what I want to do with you..."

Izanami walked towards Takehiro as he contorted in agony on the ground, kneeling next to him. Her hand came to his chest for a moment before digging into it. It would feel as though she was clutching his heart, but when she pulled her hand from his chest, a stream of darkness would come with it. She brought the stream of dark energy to her side and allowed it to start manifesting, and soon Takehiro would see it take the most familiar shape of all: himself. It would look just like him, only he was almost completely black. His eyes would be shining a bright red, and there was no sign of life in his face at all.

If the real Takehiro looked at his chest, there would be no wound where Izanami previously dug into his flesh. However, if he wasn't quick enough, his doppleganger was about to bring his spear right down onto Takehiro's chest to impale his heart!

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro screamed as she dug into his heart, and stared toward the sky in shock as she made a shadow version of himself. There was absolutely no way any of this could be real, and yet... he felt it. Part of him wanted to give up, but he couldn't.

As the spear came toward his heart, Takehiro rolled to the side, out of the way of the spear and toward his doppelganger. While the spear was hitting the ground, the mercenary would send out a punch aimed straight for Nega-Tak's kneecap, aiming to blow it right the fuck out from his leg.

Izanami stepped away at this point, sitting back on her throne as she watched the battle with a smile.

Takehiro successfully dodged the spear, but his shadow moved his leg out of the way, instead bringing his foot down to slam on Takehiro's arm in an attempt to stop him from moving it. From here, the spear raised again, and he would attempt to stab Takehiro in the throat.

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro flexed his forearm before it was stepped on, lessening the pain. He turned his head to the side, letting the spear fall right next to his neck. Using all of his back, core, and leg muscles, he would tuck his legs in and shoot them upward to kick the fucker in the chin with enough force to knock him back, and hopefully drop that spear.

Shadow Takehiro would be knocked back, and his spear would indeed fall to the ground near Takehiro. Once he regained his composure, the shadow began to channel darkness into his fists, imbuing those explosive gloves with the dark element. He then charged at Takehiro, fist raised and planned to slam it into his face. If he missed, he would double back with his other fist.

Takehiro quickly rolled to his side, taking the spear in his hand. As the shadow version of himself charged, he would thrust the spear forward, looking to stab it right through the fucker's neck, since spear + arm is longer than arm. He kept his footing secure and a firm grip on his weapon, so if it somehow missed the mark he would be ready to move.

Shadow Takehiro would duck under the spear, not letting his momentum stop for a moment. That fist of his would be flying right towards Takehiro's chest, planning on dealing massive damage to his living counterpart's body.

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro simply slammed the spear downward, ramming the handle into nega-Tak's shoulder. Even if it didn't do much damage, it would halt his momentum enough that the mercenary could step back and away from the explosive fists. From there, he would bring the spear over his head and slash it in a wide arc in front of himself, then quickly another lower arc, each one aimed to do as much damage to this fake as possible.

It seemed neither were really getting the advantage. Shadow Takehiro would duck under the first swing and jump over the second, straight towards Takehiro with his fist raised. He planned on slamming that down right in real Takehiro's face.

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro ducked under the punch, dropping the spear and throwing both of his fists into Dark-Tak's stomach. His shoulder made that really difficult, but he used his body weight and momentum to do so. He was hoping the explosion would send the guy far back enough that he'd stumble back on his ass or something, and Takehiro would rush after him and send a powerful hook to the guy's chin.

Takehiro's strikes would be successful, the explosion sending Shadow Takehiro back and onto the ground. However, as Takehiro charged at his doppleganger in order to deliver the next blow, Shadow Takehiro would shoot his hand forward, firing a blast of darkness at Takehiro suddenly, aiming square for his chest.

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro took the blast to his chest, stumbling back and rolling back on his ass as a result. He'd quickly roll  back, taking the spear back up. With as much speed as he could, he would chuck the weapon at the guy's chest while he was down, quickly following after it. If he reached his opponent in time, he would jump up and slam his knees into nega-Tak's hips, and ram his explosi-fist into the fake's face.

Shadow Takehiro would move to the side of the spear to dodge it, bringing his hands out to catch it. He would quickly pivot on his feet, swinging the spear back around to slam the handle of it directly into Takehiro's side to knock him out of the air. If this was successful, he would follow up by immediately throwing the spear at him as he hit the ground.

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro's fist shot out, striking the handle of the spear and shattering it. He would tuck himself into a roll, catching himself just before nega-Tak, where he would shoot up and explosi-uppercut the fucker's chin. He wasn't about to put up with the weapon-stealing shit, and if one of them was gonna be unarmed, both would be.

Shadow Takehiro would fly backwards upon being struck by the uppercut, landing in a heap on the ground and seemingly not moving. Suddenly, Takehiro would find the back of his leg impaled with the broken blade of the spear, Izanami having sent it flying into his leg with her magic. At the same time, the doppleganger of Takehiro would rise back to its feet, walking towards the now injured man, raising his fist to slam it into the man's face.

"You fucking bitch!"

Takehiro cursed aloud as the blade of the spear pierced his leg, and he fell to a knee. Without much time to react, he would meet nega-Tak's fist with his own, explosion meeting explosion. Quickly, he would whip his other arm around and slam his fist into the bastard's knee, looking to pop that shit out of his body and keep him from walking.

Izanami let out that chilling laugh at Takehiro's rage, and proceeded to watch their fight. Shadow Takehiro's knee would be destroyed, and he'd fall to the ground next to Takehiro. As though he was uninhibited by the pain, he would reach forward and grab Takehiro, slamming him to the ground and choking him if he was successful.

[Amakusa Takehiro]

Takehiro tried to curse as his dark self tried to choke his normal self, and, in response, he would punch his dark self's fucking elbow out, and then proceed to his shoulder. Then he'd proceed to his fucking chest and smash it as much as he could, 'cuz he was REALLY not into choking.

[Uesugi Kenshin]

Takehiro's fists would destroy his doppleganger utterly and completely, explosion after explosion would ring out into the room and the man, although beaten and broken, would emerge victorious. At least, over his doppleganger. Izanami would send tendrils of darkness out, bounding Takehiro to the floor by his hands and feet. The goddess walked towards him kneeling by his side, digging both of her hands into his chest and pulling it apart, exposing his beating heart.

She smiled, and the more Takehiro screamed, the bigger her smile would grow. She moved her hand towards the shadow Takehiro, absorbing all of his energy into a large, dark wisp. Whispering something in a language that didn't exist in Takehiro's world, the wisp would glow with a menacing light suddenly, and the cruel goddess looked towards her victim. Her hand came down, and she shoved that darkness into Takehiro's heart, the wisp merging with it as his chest closed back up painfully. It would burn and sear. She then put her face close to his, darkness would fill her eyes and mouth and it'd burst forth into Takehiro's own eyes and mouth. This would last a few seconds, and Takehiro's body would twist and turn in agony while the tendrils held him down.

Complete, Izanami would stand up again, unbinding the tendrils. "I was going to kill you, but I have much bigger plans for you now..." She smiled darkly. Having imbued Takehiro with her essence, he would be a warrior under her name, carrying a fraction of her power.

"You will fight in my name, spreading chaos and discord. You will entertain me from the other side, and when I am bored of you... I will simply drag you down here to suffer." She laughed chillingly before Takehiro's soul was sent back to the realm of the living.
