From a top to bottom perspective hair would be the first station we'd arrive at. This young man's hair is quite long, just barely reaching his shoulders in the back should he ever untie his hair. Oddly enough it barely ever is out in the open. Masato takes care of himself as he not only sees the sword as the extension of his body, but also sees his body as an extension of the sword. A rusted blade doesn't cut nearly as well as a fresh one would, though fresh dirt, scuffs or blood never hurt any sharpened blade. To extract the point out of that metaphor - this Kojima lad isn't afraid to get dirty but prefers to not stay that way. 

The most remarkable feature on his otherwise average looking face are the shape of his eyes and the color of their irises. He's the only one of his siblings who got his father's eyes oddly enough. 

Interestingly, the way he dresses is quite simple for the stature of his family. He likes to mingle under the people in a custom outfit as seen repeatedly throughout this page. The straw hat is his favorite. 

If scars were the clothes of a warrior, Masato would be dressed in a robe. Scars tatter his body from back to front, signs of a battle proven man. Either that or a foolish one. The most noticeable however are the two sword wounds on his face. The vertical one running through his right eyebrow, eyelid and just barely reaching his teeth height wise. And the second one, which is smaller and sickle-shaped. This one is clearly visible just beneath his left eye.
