"Ahoy, mateys!"
~* Nanami would take her place beside Constantine and Haruyuki. Her cannons at the ready, she would fire whenever an opening presented itself. Meanwhile, if Takehiro tried to fire any bolts at her (a waste of a bolt though), she would do her best to RUUUUUN LIIIIKE HEEEEELLLLLL!!!
"FIRE AWAY!"

~* Nanami would look shockingly at the orbs that suddenly appeared around them, keeping her guard up. But what happened next caught her by surprise, and the pirate girl received a headbutt to the face by some real fast monster thing!
"Ow..."
~* She would rub her head for a moment, it ached like craaaazy. But she had no time to just lay there and let the pain go away, seeing that they were now surrounded by monsters. She quickly scrambled to her feet, looking for the area where the monsters were concentrated most in number... aiming her cannons, and firing, planning to kill what she could.
"Ain't no treasure worth this crap!"

~* Nanami wanted along with the other three, hands on her cannons and just itching to fire at something.
"I don't really know any of you guys, but..." She looked at Haji. "This dude did craft and give me my cannons without ever meeting me! I suppose a little non-canonical fun is good now and then!"
~* She grinned largely as she approached the battle with the rest of them.
~* Haji was giving them all weird glances... what the heck was non-canon?

~* Nanami blinked, seeing the demon man who aided the people of Totomi in the Kitabatake attack. He was here too? If that was the case, the pirate had a feeling that this battle wouldn't be impossible after all. The Imagawa couldn't possibly have anything that could defend against a beast like that.
"... That said..."
~* The little pirate decided to go on a little journey to the west. She wanted to stay far away from the demons as possible, not wanting to get caught in the collateral fire. She had thirty men from the Chosokabe with her, but was unaware of Constantine being a member of their forces.

"Daaaaaaayum! Took out everyone of them suckas!"
~* Nanami looked on joyfully as she realized what she had done. When the smoke cleared, she looked across the room, seeing a door made of light dissolve, and behind it was a chest!
~* She skipped along merrily to it, holding her cannons at the ready just in case. Eying the chest, she figured it was the so-called treasure of Numa Castle. Pretty valuables must've been inside. Oh, that precious booty!
"One of you grab the booty, would ya?"
~* And she didn't mean her booty.

"Woah, what the?!"
~* Nanami would freak out as they were all suddenly pulled in. Either this castle was freaky-deaky or Constantine's flute was just crazy. Being sent through the air, the pirate girl was met with a most terrible stench before hitting the ground. Groaning in pain, she didn't have any time to see if everyone was okay, the sound of terrible shrieks piercing the air. Looking up, it looked as if the dead itself were coming back to life!
"WHAAAATDAAAAFAAAAAAQ!!!!"
~* She would roll to the side, aiming her cannons from here as to not hit her own teammates, firing two cannonballs straight for the group charging them. Meanwhile, she was kind of majorly freaking out.

~* Nanami looked back and forth between the doors. Left. Middle. Right. Middle. Left. She had no idea which way led where, and wouldn't pretend to know. For all she knew, one of the paths could lead to some freaky things, like undead warriors or demon chariots from hell! Heh, that'd be something.
"My gut instinct is telling me..."

~* Nanami twiddled her thumbs. It wasn't easy to explain.
"I may have borrowed one of my father's ships to go sailing on a whim. We ended up way over here by Totomi, just happening upon this battle by a stroke of luck... my father taught me to never let to those less fortunate suffer. So as his daughter, I want to make the Chosokabe clan name proud."
~* She huffed her chest up, thinking that she did just that today. Despite having a substantially smaller force, Nanami would've attacked even without the demon man around. She felt that Motochika would've been just proud of her. She held his spirit and sense of adventure.

~* Nanami blinked. It seemed legit enough with her being unable to even touch him. She was confused, and had many questions, but she felt they were best unanswered.
"Oh well, you may tell your master... or tangible self, anyway... that the pirates of the Chosokabe will back him in his endeavors, and to help the people of this land."
~* Her pirate crew seemed to cheer at her declaration, despite the fact they felt rather unneeded. But nonetheless, the girl stood proudly with her hands on her hips.

"OH NO, THE SHIP!"
~* Nanami panicked as the cannonball just shot through the deck of her ship. Looking into the hole, it didn't do any serious damage, so they weren't in any danger of sinking, and she let out a sigh of relief. The doppleganger patted her on the head, and she pursed her lips and pouted.
"Not like we did much, but you're welcome..."
~* This was no way to prove the might of the Chosokabe to the world, not when there were shadow dudes flying everywhere doing all of the work. She wanted to be a hero of the seas! Tilting her head, she looked curiously at the shadow, poking it.
"What are you, anyway...?"

~* Nanami stared dumbstruck as the Kitabatake were wiped out before she and her men could really do anything, and she just stood there. "Oh, well then... I guess we did our job, somewhat..."
~* Her men began to put their weapons away, cleaning the ship up and reloading the cannons for later use. The Totomi were safe, only in small part thanks to the Chosokabe. But Nanami was sure that this would help with relations between the factions, and at least keep the demon dude off of them.
~* She was about to walk back to her cabin when the dark shadowy guy showed up again, and she screamed. "AAAAH! DON'T FRIGGIN' DO THAT!" She shouted, dropping her cannons in surprise, which would fire at the doppleganger as they hit the ground by accident. "Ehh... oops..." Sweatdrop.
~* And where did he get a roasted squirrel?

"I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I... Oh my god. I'm about to die."
~* Nanami just about had a heart attack as the demonic man landed on her ship. Was he going to send her and her men to Yomi as well? They were only trying to repel these invaders for the people of Totomi!
~* She looked at him confused as he grinned, and instead, he cut down the Kitabatake that were invading her ship before he attacked their ship, causing it to explode. She watched in awe as the man flew off to another ship, no idea what was going on or if the man was even human. He couldn't be human, right? But at least she wasn't dying today, which meant he was an ally. And that meant...
"Brave pirates of Chosokabe! Utilize everything you have into aiding that man! He is no demon, but an ally of ours!"
~* She quickly ran to her cabin to grab her hand cannons before emerging back onto the deck, taking aim at one of the ships and beginning to fire. Her own men aimed their cannons at the Kitabatake ships, confident that even if they sunk them, the demonic man would get himself and any allies off in time.

"Aye... oh boy..."
~* Nanami sat pinned down with the rest of her men behind cover as arrows constantly rained down upon them. Every now and then, the wood behind them would resonate with loud thuds, signifying that the enemy had let loose another volley. "I hate arrows..."
~* Half of their men had been defeated already, while the enemy group still had an astounding twenty men, not a single casualty had been taken by their side. Nanami cursed herself for allowing them to have such an advantage, even if this was a training exercise. No, the Chosokabe name did not allow her to have such a failure! She would not let this happen! Especially not to a group her father hired to test his pirates!
"Alright, boys. You ready to show these landlubbers what happens when you mess with pirates?"
~* The men cheered, and Nanami laid her cannons to the side. She took a stick, placing it to the dirt and began to draw in it while her men looked on to see what the girl had planned. "Now, while we're used to fighting from ships, we pirates can still kick ass on land. I'm gonna need four of you to go in each direction, sneaking around to either side of the enemy. Two of you will stay with me. Now, you boys will wait for my signal. I'm gonna start blasting away at them with my cannons, while you fire arrows from the sides. In the midst of their confusion, we'll charge like good old fashioned pirates and take 'em down!"
~* She beamed proudly while the men cheered, quietly shutting up once more arrows hit down on the wood. She grimaced in annoyance, and the men went on their merry way. She would wait, peeking out from behind the wood now and then to see when the men would get into position. Half an hour had passed, and several arrow volleys later, when she'd see her men on either side, waiting for her signal.
"Time to kick some booty."
~* Nanami jumped up from cover after the next volley, aiming her cannons and beginning to fire wildly. Cannonballs would soar at the enemy camp, crashing into the walls. The enemies ducked or jumped out of the way in a panic. At the same time, arrows would fly from either side as her men charged. Nanami placed her cannons on her back and drew her sword, charging forward with her two men as well. Soon, they were in the enemy camp, and having taken advantage of the confusion, would subdue each and every opponent without losing a single man. Several would charge at the pirate girl, but her superior speed made sure they never got a hit on her, and she would disarm them and point the blade to their throats. "Sorry, lad. You can't take me."
~* Soon, all the enemies were rounded up, surrendering to the Chosokabe pirates. Nanami was awfully proud of herself, deigning to report to Father the news of her success.

"This is terrible..."
~* Nanami looked over the ruined homes of a village by the sea. It had been under attack by a ship from a currently unknown faction. Rumors were flying around that it was an invasion by the Mori, but Nanami figured that someone as high and mighty as Mori Motonari would declare his intentions to the people of Shikoku and not end with just one village. It must have been a lesser group or even just bandits who got a ship to toy with. It was just her gut feeling. Mori would not have left any survivors.
"Alright guys, let's get to work..."
~* She was less than cheerful today, seeing the people of this village suffering so. Homes were lost, families were destroyed, and yet, the spirit of the people of Shikoku burned strong. They were rebuilding this place, and Nanami and her band of pirates wanted to help them.
~* The pirate started out by helping the wounded, cleaning and bandaging injuries or helping carried the injured people to a doctor if their wounds were more serious. She then went around in a boat, helping to fish the bodies out of the water. The corpses made her a little sick and she wanted to cry, but now wasn't the time for that. She had to be strong, she had to be an example as a leader to these people. Sailing back to the shore, she would help to give these bodies a proper burial. She'd repeat this process for hours, until no more bodies were laying in the sea.
~* She then proceeded to help with reconstructing homes. Riding off in a carriage to a nearby forest, she would take an axe and cut some wood, spending the next few hours cutting down trees and loading up the carriage with the lumber. It was nearly nightfall when she'd return, finding many of the people still hard at work. If they weren't going to rest, then she couldn't either. So without hesitation, she climbed off of the carriage and began to hand out some of the lumber to her men, who would carry it where any construction was going to happen. Nanami would aid with the building of the foundation of the homes first, laying out planks of wood along the floor. From here, she would position some upright in the corners with the help of her men before building and erecting walls. She got a splinter or two in the process, and more than once did they drop the wood and have to rebuild, but eventually, they would succeed in building a hut. They would repeat this several times over throughout the night, not stopping until they had enough shelter for all of the survivors.
~* At this point, fatigue had started to get to the young pirate, and she collapsed. The people ran to her side, crying out in fear. They brought her to the inn to rest, and she awoke several hours later in a daze. It seemed the sun had come up now, and as she tried to get up, the innkeeper stopped her. "You're in no condition to move, you're pushing yourself too hard."
~* Nanami merely smiled. "It's okay. I can't sit around while my people need me." And she got off of the bed despite the protests, walking outside and examining what all had been done. Her and her men had provided burials for all of the dead, as well as constructed plenty of homes for the people, all in a single night. She checked around the village at this point, helping fetch water for those who needed it, and talked to her men in order to try and keep their morale high.
~* As her men and her decided to depart, the villagers stopped her, presenting her with a small offering of onigiri. "I know it isn't much, but please take it, we're eternally grateful for all that you have done."
~* Nanami looked at the offering and her eyes teared up, and she accepted it with a smile. She thanked the people, and as she sailed away on her ship, began to munch on the food happily. It tasted great, and she made sure that she would visit them again someday.

~* Nanami stared at her father, dumbstruck. "Bows? Why do we pirates need to use bows? Can't we just shoot our enemies with guns and be done with it?" She questioned. Motochika merely patted his daughter on the head, laughing at her. "Aye. But there could be a time when a lass such as yourself is stuck without your trusty sidearm, and you have no choice but to use a bow."
~* Nanami grumbled, but she supposed her father was telling the truth. She couldn't always rely on her guns, right? That said, she recently started to carry cannons around on her back. It wasn't the most conspicuous weapon, and it certainly wasn't silent, and thus was a no go for stealth missions. The pirate shrugged and took her place at the archery range, attempting to fiddle with the bow.
~* She nocked an arrow, taking aim down the range, but upon firing, it would only sail halfway across, making it nowhere near the target. She pursed her lips and pouted, realizing this took more skill and focus than simply firing a pistol. She once more nocked an arrow, pulling the string back further. The wood on the bow bent as she did, and upon releasing, the arrow flew much further. She celebrated with this fact, despite the fact that she missed. The instructor facepalmed upon watching her.
"Alright, time to get serious!"
~* Nanami would take aim, nocking an arrow. She would focus, concentrating for a long period of time as she lined the target up in her sights. Taking deep breaths, she would envision it being like the first time she ever learned to fire a gun. Patience. Slow and steady. She released the arrow, and it hit the target dead center. With a grin, she realized this wasn't so bad. The lass continued to fire arrow after arrow in this manner, her shots striking the target consecutively, which she was grateful for as she had already wasted her two allowed misses at the very beginning.
"I think I'm a natural!" The girl beamed brightly. The instructor merely shrugged. "Just go and try your next task."
~* She wandered off to the next part of the range, listening to what her next task was. She had to hit moving targets this time. People with padding on their legs would sprint by, and Nanami had to fire at their legs in order to take them down. 10 targets, 8 of which were required to be hit. "Well, drop my anchor and call me Peter, this sounds tough..."
~* The girl took her place, looking down the range. She nocked an arrow back, taking a deep breath as the first target began to run. Her eyes widened. "Gee willikers, he's fast!" She followed along in a panic, firing her arrow. By some stroke of luck, she had successfully hit the man in the legs and he fell forward. "Yippie!" She cheered, getting ready to hit the next one. The second man would start to run, and she fired an arrow at his legs, missing him. "Aww... but... but... but..." She pouted.
"Okay, Nanami... focus..." She bit her lip, nocking another arrow. Trying to take her time with the shot, the next man was also missed. "Oh crap..." That was her second alloted miss, she could only succeed from this point. Taking deep breaths, she calmed herself down before nocking another arrow. The next target would start to sprint forward, and this time instead of following along, she led her target. Taking aim... firing... success! She hit the man square in the legs! Grinning proudly, she would repeat this tactic for the last six men, succeeding in the rest of her shots.
~* Excitedly, she ran off to report the news to her father.

~* Nanami nodded happily as Jina asked if she was a pirate. She wasn't outright ready to state she was the daughter of a daimyo, especially around a bunch of strangers, as she felt that her ransom could potentially be more than the treasure of this castle could amount to, so she kept her last name hush hush for now.
"Jina. Constantine. Shoji. Hideyasu. Got it."
~* She made sure she got all of their names right, struggling a bit with Constantine. She personally took a liking to Jina and Constantine at this point, being foreigners and all. Hideyasu's hair wasn't anything new to her as her father had unnaturally white hair too. And Shoji seemed a bit creepy but didn't seem like a bad guy... She frowned at being called Nanami-chan, but she had to admit that this Shoji person's plan wasn't all that bad. "Well, I guess we could go with that. None of you seem to have any guns on you." She spoke, pointing to the cannons on her back.
~* She took a look around, noticing three paths they could take from the entrance.
"Left, middle, or right...? What do you guys think?" She mused, placing her finger on her lips as she tilted her head. She figured it'd be best to go together for this kind of thing.

"D-dear Mizuchi... what in Susanoo is going on here...?!"
~* The petite pirate looked at all of the destruction going on. Despite the Kitabatake having the naval advantage, they were actually losing. The Totomi didn't even have some kind of amazing fort like the Chosokabe's home fortress of Shikoku. No, what was destroying their entire naval fleet was a single man! Leaping and destroying entire ships with his own strength!
"I-I-Is that a demon...?!"
~* The woman stared in disbelief, not even hearing the calls of her soldiers trying to bring her back to earth. It seemed a Kitabatake ship had advanced upon them, and their soldiers began to board the ship! The princess would turn once she realized they were in danger, just in time to see a soldier advancing on her. Pulling out her temporary pistol, she took aim at the man and fired, the bullet crashing into his shoulder and disabling his ability to fight. Raising her sword to the air, the woman cried out.
"Brave men of the Chosokabe! We will not back down from any threat! Repel these invaders, and teach them not to cause terror on the seas while we sail them!"
~* She hoped that demonic soldier would not target her ship.

~* The pirate princess would be sailing through the area on a whim, using a ship that her father had lent her. It was a fine vessel, and Nanami had a reliable crew to back her. She trusted these men with her life, and so the young captain stood at the wheel as they sailed the seven seas. She felt right at home.
~* They found themselves near the region of Totomi, and in the distance, there looked like there were ships. Taking her spyglass, the girl would look at them, seeing the Mon of the Kitabatake faction on the ships. They were also firing cannons at a nearby village.
"Oh hell no!"
~* The Chosokabe princess would not allow for this! She drew one of her swords, allowing one of her crew to take to the wheel instead. She pointed it forward with a shout. "Onward, brave men of the Chosokabe! We will not allow any harm to befall these innocents!"
~* The men stared at her in disbelief, a single ship against an entire fleet?! But the young captain was undeterred. She blinked as she noticed something strange... was that a person leaping through the air? Did he just split in two? Aye, it was probably just a trick of the seas. She shook her head and recomposed herself as her men began to open fire on the enemy ships, hoping to at least divert their attention from the village.

~* Nanami turned around, surprised. She wasn't expecting people to start showing up in swarms. She blinked as one person appeared after the other, until a total of four stood in front of her. All seemed like they were here for the same reason. There was treasure to be found.
"That treasure is in fact, what I seek! And this seems like a jolly good crew to go searching for it!"
~* The pirate smiled happily, hands on her hips. She was glad she wasn't doing this alone. Seeing one other girl, she noted that it wouldn't be a complete sausage fest. There was a creepy guy who talked a lot, a white haired dude who thought he was too cool to join into the conversation, and a... westerner! Nanami peered at him for a moment in awe, she loved westerners. Ironically, she had no idea that guy was a part of her father's forces.
"Well then, shall we be off?"
~* She would say after a moment of staring, starting to walk into the castle. As she opened the door to slip inside, she would shout something behind her.
"Name's Nanami, by the way!"

~* Nanami's ears perked at the guy's name. So he finally introduced himself, and the little lady smiled happily. "Bu...randto..." She would murmur, doing her best to say his unusual name. Her eyes narrowed a bit as she realized it sounded a bit off, but she just shrugged it off.
"Nice to meet you, Brandt! You can call me Nanami!"
~* She neglected to say her clan name, just in case the man knew the Chosokabe were in charge of the Seto area or something. She wasn't keen on being kidnapped, and she wasn't sure she was strong enough to hold off a ton of people yet, especially a guy this big.
~* Stopping by a stall, Nanami would produce a bag of coins, exchanging it for several fish. Only one would be for her, but she figured the guy could eat a ton.
"Hmm..."
~* She scouted the area, realizing the man seemed awfully quiet, and thinking he might not want to be around people. She saw a pathway leading to the beach, and figured they could just start a fire there and cook the fish up. She pointed at the beach and looked back to the larger man.
"Well, how about it?"

~* The pirate clad girl glared at the larger man as he pretty much ignored her question, giving an almost pouty face. Okay, rude. She figured it was the least he could do for her offering to buy his meal.
"Well, Mr. Giant, if you've noticed, we're walking back to the stalls. The tavern's over thataway too, if you'd rather stop there to eat."
~* She didn't care where they went, she did want some grub in her belly too. That said, she was still a bit peeved by the fact he wouldn't give his name out.

~* Numa Castle, a haunted place where the souls of the dead were trapped and demons from Hell roamed about? Nanami initially scoffed at the idea, but standing here before it, she could hear the rumors about the screams were in fact, true. But there had to be a logical explanation for it all, right?
~* Normally, in situations that made her nervous, the girl would pull her pistol out and twirl it around. But right now, she was out of a pistol, only having her two curved blades. She didn't know if she was willing to venture into this place alone, but she figured the rumors would attract other adventurers here at some point or another, so she opted to wait.
"I wonder if the treasure here is worth plundering..." She mused out loud, but hey, it sounded like the adventure of a lifetime.

~* The large man seemed quite keen on the idea of getting some food in his belly, and Nanami was pleased he wasn't so aggressive. She was sort of afraid he'd just leap at her and tear her apart, but it seemed he had a nicer side to him... maybe.
"Oh. You'll be able to eat your fill."
~* The pirate's pockets were lined, being the Chosokabe princess. Of course, this man didn't really need to know all of the details. She didn't know if he'd end up trying to rob her or not, and she really didn't want to end up fighting this guy off. Turning on her heel, she began to walk back towards the stalls, assuming the man would follow.
"So what's your name, stranger?"
