Move Like the Light [Musou|Shou]

[Yamabara Shou]

Shou would claim the rod as a weapon, waiting for it to vanish if it would. Before sneaking around the guards in the room over to the guard with the keys. Crouched low Shou would attempt to steal the keys unnoticed. However he was ready for things if the man did notice. If he was discovered Shou would stand quickly bring the rod up and slam it into the back of the man's skull to knock him to the ground, hopefully unconscious. Before backing up a few steps quietly so as not to be standing next to the man when the other guards noticed.

Shou would find that the rod did not blend in with him! Instead, it stayed normal, set aside the area he was holding. It was as if the rod was floating, and there were large holes in it!

"What the..." the first guard turned, speaking quietly enough so none would hear him. He just stared down at Shou's rod. The other four guards moved further down the hall.

Shou would slowly approach silent, before lunging forward when the guard made any action. The bar swinging out for the side of his head. A blow to render him cleanly unconscious. Shou dropping the bar to the floor and kicking it under the guard, so it wouldn't be seen before snatching the keys and throwing them through the bars of the cells towards one of the other Takeda men.

Shou would take out the man with no issues whatsoever! As the key was thrown into the first cell, however, the Takeda soldier just stared down at them in amazement! It took him a while, but he finally started to use them, exclaiming with glee, having forgotten where he was. This caused the other guards to turn around and notice their friend on the floor, and the floating rod!

"What the fuck is going on?!"

Shou though that he was going to be able to deal with the situation calmly, however one of the guard managed to turn and see him with the rod before he dropped it and see the Takeda soldier with the keys. Rather then dropping the rod. Shou threw it gently in arc forward. Hoping to make the man look up. Shou would dash forward, catching the rod on its way down and trying to take down the soldier as he had the first. Surprise was quickly going to be lost, and so Shou didn't relent and powered his way through, using the rod to attack and take down the soldier left as quickly as he could, while the man in the cage free himself and the others.

Shou was able to take the second man down in time, but his exclamation alerted the other three! One through a rod in Shou's direction and it painfully slammed into his spine, taking him to the ground and pulling him out of his camouflage!

"It's him! The Takeda scum!"

The three guards rushed him and began to kick him while he was down, but before they could do much damage, the man in the cell burst the door open and slammed into them, knocking them off his fellow officer!

Pain filled Shou and he was worried that this was all going to happen again, that he was going to die. Then the even greater fear that he wouldn't get a third chance came over him. Only for him to be saved by the Takeda solider, knocking the guards off of him. Leaping as quickly to his feet as he could, Shou grabbed the rod that had been thrown at him along with the first and jumped at one of the soldiers. Beating him down as quick as he could Shou would then throw one of the rods to his kinsman, so that he could better defend himself. If they could take these few down quickly then they could free and arm the rest of the troops, before trying to make there escape.

The five Miki soldiers would quickly be overwhelmed by the fifteen Takeda soldiers who would now accompany Shou. Each man was wounded, but each man was also capable of fighting. They would strip the guards of their armor, and a few would break into a small armory on the other side of the prison, where Shou would find a good deal of weapons and armor for himself and the men they could utilize before heading out into what might be incredible danger.

Shou would gear up with the Takeda soldiers quickly. He would take a short sword, for appearance and back up. However he main desire was some form of ranged weapon. However throwing daggers were out of the question, and he instead pulled out a single short bow and small quiver of arrows. "Everyone ready?" Shou would ask and wait until he was sure everyone was. 

"We will leave in grounds of three, if 5 of us leave all at once when their is meant to be 5 in here it will look a mite odd. Try to make it look like you searching with purpose and follow me." Shou would quickly instructed. Poking a head out side he would check to see if the way was clear, and then lead 2 of the men outside, and into the nearest bit of cover the could be seen from the cell house door.  Shou would keep a eye out, waiting for when the best opportunities would be before signalling another 3 men to come out and hide with the others.

Before Shou took off, he would find his old gear was within that armory! Daggers were an option, should he decide to use them!

Shou and the three guards would successfully blend in with the rest of the men wandering about the camp. The guards were in a panic, searching for the disappearing Takeda soldier, so anyone they could see, and anyone who bore their mon, was someone out of the question. It wouldn't take long for Shou to be able to signal the rest of the men out of the prison, but now his main issue lay in how to get out of the camp itself.

The camp was incredibly large, and if they walked out they could likely get out unseen. Though, the trek back to Takeda territory would be an incredibly long one. Another option would be to get into a stable and take fifteen horses, which was more likely to have the group be spotted but they'd get to safety quicker.

Finding his old equipment he would take that instead, hiding it as best he could under the Miki equipment. He would still take the shorts word however and have it at his waist. It was good back up, and it was better to look like he was armed like the Miki even with his own sword on his back as well, it strange blade hidden under his armour. 

As much as he wanted to escape unseen, the men were injured and he didn't want them to fall to their wounds on the long trip home. Plus the men would be use to riding more the trekking long distances. Shou would split the grop in half, and lead them, making a show of searching as they would head for the stables. If they could get horses, maybe eliminate any they didn't take the Miki would be hard pressed to follow.

As if out of sheer luck, Shou would find their were just enough horses in this stable for the men to escape! Any others had fallen ill, or had been taken out to search the outskirts of the camp for the disappearing prisoner! As it turns out, Shou and his men would be able to get out just fine with their horses, should they play their cards right!

Shou was please with the sight that greeted him however he wasn't going celebrate just yet. He would make a quick trip around the horse, looking for any other guards that were making sure the horse weren't going to be take. 

If there were none, he would quickly lead the men to mount up. The lead them out of the camp. If they were stopped he would try and fool anyone that they were heading out to search for the Takeda soldiers. Without revealing that they were in fact them.

Shou would find that him being as careful as he was was reward enough itself! Any guards who traveled to the stables would be redirected by a strange light force that made them believe it was Shou, when in reality it was Izanagi himself allowing the man to get away with the Takeda soldiers. Shou and the men would begin their ride back to Shinano, and though it would be a long one, it sure beat walking!

"Your selflessness will do you well in these troubled times, Young One," a voice spoke directly into Shou's head. And then it was gone.
